Symptoms of genital warts ? If spotted early enough and treated, can reduce the chances of developing cancer of the cervix.

Symptoms of genital warts can be many and varied and can even be mistaken for another disease. This is especially true hpv genital condition hasn?t manifested itself in the form of physical warts.

What Are The Symptoms of Genital Warts?

Like many other STDs, HPV infection often does not cause symptoms. One study sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) reported that nearly half of all women with HPV had no noticeable symptoms. However, in many cases, small, hard spots (easily visible to the eye) can develop within three weeks to three months after exposure.

In women, these warts can occur on the lips of the vagina, inside the vagina or even around the anus. Anogenital warts may cause itching. Women also develop cervical warts, which are flat lesions unseen in their early stages.

Some other symptoms may include:

? Cauliflower-like appearing growths around the anus or genitals
? Increased dampness or moisture in the area of the growths
? Itching of the penis, scrotum, anal area, or a vulvar itch
? Increased vaginal discharge
? Abnormal vaginal bleeding (not associated with a menstrual period) after sexual intercourse

You may have all the symptoms of genital warts but still not have any physically on your genitals. One possible reason that symptoms of genital warts are mistaken for something else is that the warts can be almost invisible to the naked eye.

In these circumstances, your physician will take your symptoms into account and use a number of methods to determine whether you have genital warts. One of the most common is to dab a small amount of acetic acid (vinegar) on the suspected area infected with warts.

The symptoms of genital warts may also be missed if they occur within the vaginal walls. In this case, the symptoms could be of another disorder called yeast infection. That?s why it?s a good idea to seek immediate professional help when the signs of genital warts are detected.

Getting the most accurate diagnosis for the symptoms you are displaying is vital, the last thing you want is self diagnosing yourself, and the likelihood of you being wrong is high, and then treating yourself for a completely different condition. This can have further repercussions, in that using the wrong medication to treat a disorder can let your body become used that medication, rendering it useless when you will need it the most.

The flipside would be to ignore the symptoms of genital warts and leaving the condition untreated, leading to even more serious conditions such as cancer of the cervix. An even more worrying possibility is that if you have recurring genital warts symptoms, it could be a sign of cervical cancer or even HIV- AIDS.

Therefore the seriousness and the urgency of a proper checkup when you display any of these symptoms is paramount. You will then be able to receive the correct treatment needed to help you get rid of genital warts.

It must be noted that even though you may be able to cure genital warts with the right treatment ad fight off the symptoms, the underlying virus, the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) cannot be cured. You will have to rely on your immune system to help fight the HPV virus.

Information About Genital Warts And Herpes

There are many diseases and conditions in this world, and some are talked about with gusto while others are talked about in hushed voices with maybe a furtive glance or two over the shoulder to make sure no one has overheard. And one of these socially taboo subjects is that of herpes and genital warts.

Both herpes and genital warts are classed as Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD?s) and both are contagious. For the most part you will contract both herpes and genital warts through sexual relations with an infected person. This means through oral sex, anal sex as well as vaginal sex.

In a few cases however, it has been noted that you can also get both herpes and genital warts through contact with the personal items of an infected person, such as clothing, especially clothing which comes into contact with the infected area, and even towels.

This is why it?s always a good idea to keep separate any clothing, toweling or bedding an infected person will use. These items should also be laundered separately, until the infection has run its course, and afterwards as well for about a week or two. These are of course just precautionary measures and may not work fully in keeping the infection at bay.

It has also been noted that herpes and genital warts might have a connection. A few people who have had herpes will be more susceptible to getting genital warts as well. This isn?t a given but a link has been established.

For the most part though you can tell the difference between herpes and genital warts as the signs and symptoms for both differ widely. For instance herpes symptoms will cause sores or blisters to appear in your genital area, whereas genital warts will cause warts to appear in and around your genital area.

Both herpes and genital warts however, have a few things in common. Depending on the particular strain of the each virus and the overall health of the person among other considerations, signs and symptoms of both herpes and genital warts may not always appear in an infected person.

In this case it can become difficult to diagnose a patient, but other signs and symptoms of herpes and genital warts will be taken into account as well. These other signs and symptoms won?t necessarily be overt or even noticed by a person, so they could remain untreated.

In the case of the herpes virus this won?t cause any problems as the outbreak of blisters will run its course and dry up. But genital warts, if left untreated can lead to cancerous cells forming where the warts were.

Also, both the herpes and genital warts viruses cannot be cured. The symptoms of the each virus can, but not the virus itself. The best thing that you could do for yourself and your partner would be to get a proper medical examination and receive a correct diagnosis. This way you will be able to receive the necessary treatment.

Genital Warts Symptoms

Genital warts symptoms can be many and varied, and in some cases can even be mistaken for something else. This is especially true if the genital HPV condition doesn?t manifest itself in a physical manner such as warts.

A person can have all the genital warts symptoms and still not display any warts. Another reason for genital warts symptoms to be mistaken for something else lies in the fact that sometimes the genital warts themselves can be almost invisible to the naked eye.

In these cases your attending physician will take into consideration your genital warts symptoms and take additional steps to decide whether or not you have genital warts. This can be done in a number of methods, the most common of which is to dab a small bit of acetic acid (vinegar to the layperson), on the area suspected of having the warts.

Genital warts symptoms can also be missed if the warts are found within the vaginal walls. In this case the many genital warts symptoms can be thought of as symptoms of another condition such as a yeast infection. This is why it is always a good idea to seek immediate help if you start displaying any of the genital warts symptoms.

Accurate diagnosis of your condition can help you to receive the best possible treatment for you. Without this, and with self diagnosis, you may be treating yourself for the wrong condition.

This in itself has its own repercussions in that by using the wrong medication to treat a condition you body can become used to that medication which will then render it useless when you need it the most.

Also, ignoring genital warts symptoms and leaving your condition untreated can lead to more serious conditions from occurring such as cancer of the cervix. It is also entirely possible that if you have recurring genital warts symptoms, it might be a precursor of a more serious medical condition like cervical cancer, or even HIV-AIDS.

In these cases genital warts need not be the cause of the medical condition, rather they can be the signs or the symptoms of the medical condition.

This is why it is doubly important that you get a proper checkup done if you display any genital warts symptoms. You will then be able to get the proper treatment needed to help you get rid of your genital warts.

However, although you might be able to fight off the genital warts symptoms, the underlying virus, the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) cannot be cured.

Your immune system will need to do this all by itself without the aid of any medications, although there is now an HPV vaccine which can be administered to a select group of women to stop the onset of HPV and genital warts symptoms.

You might have been suffering from warts for some time and only finally got your courage up to go and talk with your doctor about it. But now you want to know how to get rid of warts. This is a question which has plagued many people the world over, and the answers you get back are in some cases astonishing.

To begin with, on the topic of how to get rid of warts, you have a few main choices to make. These go along the lines of whether you want medical treatment in the form of prescription medications and surgical treatments, or whether you want natural remedies to help you get rid of your warts.

You have the option of trying out treatment methods such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Herbalism and Ayurveda amongst other things. These are normally classed as Naturopathic treatments as they deal primarily with natural ? as opposed to chemical or surgical ? treatment methods.

If this doesn?t appeal to you, you always have the other two options open to you, that of medications and surgery. If you?re wondering how to get rid of warts through medical procedures, don?t worry there are many treatment options available to you.

These range from prescription medications such as Imiquimod cream, Podofilox gel, Interferon, and Trichloracetic acid to Polyphenon and Fluorouracil. There is also the option to go the surgical route in your campaign of how to get rid of warts.

These options include, but are not limited, to surgical excision, electrocautery, cryotherapy, laser therapy, and Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). All of these methods have been known to work in getting rid of the physical signs of warts.

If on the other hand you want to go through with natural treatments and remedies, you will find that there is no shortage in that field either. You will be able to find out how to get rid of warts using these methods from a qualified herbalist or a naturopath.

Some of the better known methods of how to get rid of warts includes the use of garlic. This Nature?s wonder drug can normally be found in your kitchen and if you can just stand the pungent smell you can get rid of warts by peeling and halving a garlic clove and then rubbing it on the affected area.

You will need to do this at least twice a day until the warts are gone. If you?re wondering how to get rid of warts without the use of something as pungent as garlic, you also have the option of using herbal tinctures, or suppositories.

The tinctures can be bought form a naturalist store, or you can even make it yourself. As for the suppositories these are best made fresh at the time of needs.

To find out about suppositories you can either ask your herbalist, or naturopath, or you can get this information on how to get rid of warts from other sources such as herbal remedy books.

Warts - The Various Types And How They Are Treated

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Warts are small rough lumps on the skin, and contrary to myth, they are not caused by touching, holding, or kissing a toad. Warts are caused by a viral infection in the outer skin layer called the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). They are a common skin condition that can affect virtually any part of the body.

Warts are most often transmitted from person-to-person contact. They are easy to identify and are most common on the hands and feet, however some can affect the face and other parts of the body. Warts are more common in children than in adults, although they can develop at any age.

Most warts will usually heal themselves within weeks or months, but some warts may take years to go away. This all depends on the immune system of the individual. Most warts are harmless; however they can be quite bothersome. Warts are also unattractive and embarrassing.

There are four main types of warts: common, flat, plantar and genital.

Common warts are rough, grayish brown dome-shaped growths that appear mostly on the hands; however they may appear elsewhere on the body.

Flat warts are usually found on the face, arms, or legs. These warts are named according to their physical description - they are flat on top and can be either pink, light brown or yellow in color.

Plantar warts are warts that appear on the soles, or plantar surface, of your feet. They are irritating and can feel like you have a permanent pebble in your shoe.

Genital warts are single or multiple lumps that appear on or around the genital area and are highly contagious. They have an irregular cauliflower-like surface. Genital warts are the most common symptoms of the Human Papilloma Virus.

Treatments For Warts:

There are various types of treatments available for warts. These treatments depend on the location of the warts, the age of the individual, and how long the warts have been present.

Over the counter treatments typically need several applications, and are only necessary if the warts are problematic. More extensive external warts are frequently treated directly with a variety of topical or surgical treatments. The warts are excised or cut off from the skin at the base.

Most warts are often cleared by the body without any treatment; however they can be treated depending on your individual symptoms and personal preferences. If you have warts that are rapidly multiplying then they should be treated. For the most part, warts are not usually all that serious a problem.

You can find more information on warts and wart treatments at the Warts resource website.

A New Attack In The War Against Wrinkles

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

In today's society there is a major emphasis placed on youth and vitality. With progress being made in a number of areas that have allowed people to seemingly remain younger longer, more and more people are choosing to delay the effects of aging, such as wrinkles. For a long time wrinkles appeared as one aged, seemingly alerting the world to their growing older. However, now people have growing options to delay aspects of aging like wrinkles. There are a number of options for people who choose to stop the effects of aging, some more drastic than others. But no matter what your age or financial status, chances are you will be able to find an age-defying solution to stop wrinkles from appearing on your face. However, those who have more money to spend may find that stopping the effects of aging comes a little bit easier. One of the growing trends for aging Americans in today's society is Botox treatment. Botox treatment, approved by the American Food and Drug Administration in 2002, is the practice of having a Botox cosmetic called Botulinum Toxin Type A injected into areas of the face where wrinkles appear. Botox treatment has allowed clients to remain seemingly ageless by stopping wrinkles in their tracks once they begin to appear.

Botox injections are made up of the same toxic chemical that causes food poisoning in people. By injecting this chemical into areas of the skin, the muscles of Botox patients are able to resist contraction, which causes wrinkles. Think of Botox injections as stretching the muscles out tightly so that they are unable to contract. Wrinkles appear in areas where the skin has wrinkled repeatedly due to muscle contractions. By not allowing the muscles to contract in these areas, wrinkles disappear. Most people find that after a Botox injection wrinkles in the injection area have nearly or completely disappeared within one week of the injection treatment. However, even though one Botox treatment will show dramatic results almost instantly, the effects of one Botox treatment do not last forever. Most Botox patients find that they must repeat the treatment process within four months of the previous treatment to keep wrinkles from reappearing. Botox treatment has grown remarkably in popularity since its inception and now millions of people pay for Botox injections each year. This can be used as evidence of a society obsessed with youthful beauty.

Botox injections are not only used for cosmetic purposes though. In fact, Botox was approved over a decade earlier for medical purposes. Botox has been used to treat muscle disorders as well as neurological disorders. Botox can be helpful in cases where muscles have unusual twitches or ticks. By keeping the muscle from contracting, Botox can relieve the patient of these symptoms. Botox has also been reported to help in the treatment of migraine headaches.

When visiting a doctor for a Botox injection, the chemical will be administered through a needle. The injection does not take long and once injected the Botox works as an agent to temporarily paralyze muscles that have caused wrinkles. Since this treatment is still relatively new, Botox injections are still somewhat costly. This is why it is typically practiced by those who are well off financially. One Botox treatment typically costs a patient anywhere from $250-$500 for each injection. If you have more than one area where you would like to eliminate wrinkles, keep in mind that you will be charged for each injection the doctor administers, not one price for the treatment. It is somewhat simple to find a Botox doctor to administer the treatment should you be interested. Your regular doctor may be able to assist you in this process. If not, there are a number of searchable databases on the internet that allow you to find a number of doctors in your area that administer Botox injections. It is recommended that you find a doctor who belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, since they are the best professionals available for this type of treatment. The most important thing to keep in mind when considering Botox injections is that they are not for everyone.

Plantars Warts and Duct Tape

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Plantars warts and duct tape... You probably think I am crazy; but I am not. First of all, let me tell you about my personal experience with plantars warts and duct tape.

My daughter who is eleven years old has had plantars warts for approximately the last year. I have taken her to several dermatologists and most recently a podiatrist. I learned through a ton of research that she had plantar warts but they spread at a rapid rate.

I began seeking treatment immediately but they kept spreading so that she had in excess of fifty all over her feet. There were plantars warts everywhere! I was desperate?but plantars wart duct tape?I was not convinced!

At first the doctors were concerned with how much the warts were spreading and why they were spreading at such a rapid pace.

The third and final doctor we went to advised us that we should try burning some of the larger areas with the cryotherapy (freezing the warts). We did this but the pain was so intense it would in effect cause my daughter to have burn marks on her bottoms of her feet because there were so many warts they were trying to treat.

Finally, a young doctor came into me as she heard my daughter crying after the last cryotherapy and said can we try something less painful.

At this point I was willing to try anything because of the pain my daughter was experiencing. Then our doctor said, ?I know you are going to think I am crazy but let?s put some duct tape on the warts?. Both I and my daughter just laughed thinking our doctor was trying to be funny.

But all of a sudden she began to wrap duct tape around my daughter?s feet and told me to do the same wrapping procedure everyday for the next two to four weeks. She explained that the duct tape must be applied at night so that my daughter wouldn?t get the duct tape wet and also so she wouldn?t take the duct tape off because of her friends.

The doctor explained to me that when the duct tape is applied to plantars warts it doesn?t allow the plantar wart to breath and will actually cut off the oxygen supply causing the warts to stop spreading and eventually they will go away.

Well, with just a little faith in the young doctor, I was willing to try the idea of plantar wart duct tape! It has to be better than watching my baby cry having the warts removed through cryotherapy.

We reluctantly tried it for four weeks and believe it or not she is plantar wart free! My daughter is much happier now?and less traumatized by visits to the physician.

Plantars warts and duct tape really does work.

I will never laugh at this remedy again. I now always keep duct tape around just in case!

Prescription Treatments For Genital Warts

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

There are many prescription treatments for genital warts that are effective in treating the problem. Genital warts are flat, or cauliflower like skin growths that typically appear on the penis, around the vagina or around the anus. They are caused by a virus called human papilloma virus (HPV) and are spread through sexual contact. Prescription drugs for genital warts coupled with medical procedures provide the most effective treatment. Bear in mind that there is no cure for the virus that causes genital warts. They are not easy to treat and may come back even after successful treatment.

Prescription treatments for genital warts include imiquimod (brand name Aldara) a cream that you apply directly to the warts three times a week for up to 16 weeks. Imiquimod clears genital warts in 50% of the people treated. Although this prescription cream is expensive, it is safe and easy to use. Imiquimod boosts the immune system to fight HPV. Visit http://www.treatgenitalwarts.org to learn more about genital warts.

Podofilox (Condylox) is a prescription gel or liquid that you apply directly to the genital warts twice a day, three times a week, for up to four weeks. This prescription drug destroys the tissue of external genital warts. It is inexpensive and easy to use. Podofilox clears genital warts in about 65 percent of people treated. Imiquimod and podofilox prescriptions for genital warts may be used at home.

TCA (trichloracetic acid) is another prescription that is used to treat genital warts. Because TCA is a caustic agent, it is imperative that it be administered properly to the genital warts in order to prevent damage to surrounding tissue. This prescription can only be administered by your doctor in the office. Several weekly treatments are required.

The treatment you choose for genital warts depends upon the specific type and severity of genital warts that you have. According to the American Academy of Physicians, the anti-viral drug called alpha-interferon can also be used. It is injected directly into the genital warts by a physician. While it may provide some temporary relief, alpha-interferon is very expensive and seems to have little effect on the recurrence of warts. It is probable that you will require more than one type of treatment.

Good hygiene is important when you are using prescription drugs for genital warts. Keep your genitals clean and dry and do not use scented soaps and bath oils that may irritate the genital warts.

Wart Removal - ABCs of Removal Methods for Warts

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Wart removal can be tricky if you have little or no knowledge about the proper ways to get rid of those warts. Imagine making incomplete removals and seeing them return as if they are back with a vengeance. If you are thinking of removing those warts for your children, you may wish to note that juvenile warts do vanish over time and it may not be necessary to do anything for the time being. Whatever reason you may have for wanting to get rid of those ugly warts, this article would discuss about the methods and treatment available to remove the warts in a more controlled environment under the care of a professional, ie the dermatologist.

Warts can be removed by a dermatologist or doctor at your local clinic. As the removal can be painful and cause some discomfort, the dermatologist would normally apply anesthetic on the warts and its surrounding skin to alleviate the pain. Depending on the type of warts, age of patient and other factors, your dermatologist may tailor the removal method for you accordingly. Another point to note is whether your insurance policy does cover such treatment procedures. I have to caution you early that if you are getting rid of those warts purely for cosmetic reasons, ie to enhance your looks and physical appearance, the medical expenses may not be claimable. Please check with your insurance company and the dermatologist.

Broadly, there are 5 removal methods in the market, and 4 are done at the dermatologist. The last type is self-administered.

Excision with Scissors/Scalpel

This is one the most conventional removal method used by most dermatologist. The warts are excised or cut off from the skin at the base. This is the preferred option for large warts.

Cauterization/Electro-Surgery of Warts

This in short is the procedure for burning off warts with electric current.

Freezing Off the Warts

Forceps or metallic tweezers are used to hold and secure the warts. Liquid nitrogen is then applied to the handling tool to freeze off the warts. This wart removal method is also known as cryotherapy.

Laser Surgery

Perhaps the most expensive method of all, laser surgery is also reputed to be the most thorough way to remove the warts.

Finally, the last common removal method which can be carried out at home is by using over-the-counter medications. Visit the pharmacy and purchase plasters, solution or gel containing tretinoin, salicylic acid or other medications containing skin-exfoliating agents.

While the above methods are commonly applied by most people, there are still associated risks you must consider. External procedures performed at the dermatologist can be painful and in some cases, the wounds can remain uncomfortable and irritating for several days. Warts are also notorious for being a recurring skin condition. If you are interested in knowing more about how you can easily remove them completely and permanently from home using natural and inexpensive methods, do visit my blog about natural wart removal.

Warts Can Show Up Everywhere

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

There is a virus causing warts. For example, human papilloma virus is known to be the main factor that causes anal warts. Another type is genital warts, which are eruptions on the sex organs that are caused by transmitting of a virus during anal, vaginal or oral sex. The virus is not strong enough to create any warts that can be seen on the surface of the penis.

There are an estimate of over 100 strains of Human Papilloma Virus, approximately 30 strains of the virus are known to lead to genital warts. The genital warts are classified as a sexually transmitted disease, yet the exchange of bodily fluids during sexual intercourse is not required for the virus to spread. When your skin is damaged by cutting, scraping, freezing or burning, the wart virus usually grows back into the healing tissue and the wart returns. Usually there are up to 60 different types of warts and the most common one?s affects the hands, fingers and arms and sometimes other areas of the body is called verruca vulgaris.

In a study from a children's hospital it is shown that common duct tape is significantly more effective in curing common warts than the standard treatment of liquid nitrogen. If you are infected, then you should have treatment as soon as possible. Warts are often harmless growths which will probably go away by themselves or with minimal treatment. If their location and the amount of pain involved makes them difficult to ignore you need proper treatment. One factor to consider when deciding on the best treatment for genital warts is that in up to 50% of people treated, the warts return.

Perhaps you have heard about plantar warts. It comes from the fact that these areas are weight bearing and responsible for moving the human body from place to place. So the warts that form on the plantar surfaces get forced into the skin which makes them particularly painful. To use a public shower or walking around the locker room in your bare feet after a workout increases your risk for developing plantar warts.

Even here it is a virus that enters the body through a break in the skin and causes plantar warts. All kind of warts are a viral infection of the skin. So for the virus, any type of break in your skin can provide an entry point and allow the plantar wart to begin to develop.

For a person with a sexually transmitted disease it is easier to get affected by genital warts. Even if genital warts are equally prevalent in men as in women, the symptoms of the disease are generally much less obvious. When your warts have been removed, you need to do everything you can to boost your immune system, to give it the best possible chance of fighting off the disease permanently.

The most common warts will not be seen on areas of the body like the soles of the feet or genitals. They can start off in one area and if left untreated they can actually show up in more and more areas which is common. Most common are the areas around the mouth, eyes, or nose.

How To Get Rid Of Warts

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

How to get rid of warts - That is a question that is yet to be answered with complete certainty by even the smartest of doctors, warts are still a common problem in our society and after much research and testing, we are all still not able to discover how to get rid of warts for good.

The good news is that they are not usually all that serious a problem, they are not nice, they do not look good and they can spread all over your body but there is little chance of them doing very serious harm to you.

There are different types of warts you can get such as:

Flat warts - These are are small and round in shape and can spread very easily, usually from things like simply scratching and cuts. These are most common on the face and on the legs but a large problem with them is the fact that they can sometimes appear in large groups at once.

Plantar warts - These are warts that will appear on your foot and they are often quite painful with the fact that your body weight is constantly pressing on them. If you do get any plantar warts then it is advisable to stay away from places such as athletic events as while changing you can easily spread them to other athletes.

Genital warts - These are the most dreaded of all warts simply because of the placement of them. You can get these warts via sexual contact with other people.

So, how do i get rid of them?

There are many different methods and theories for getting rid of warts, some of these include:

Getting them removed by a doctor - This is the easiest and quickest way of all as you can get a wart removed usually within around ten minutes by a doctor and it does not hurt at all, you receive an injection that will make the area around the wart go numb and then the doctor will remove it.

Avoid contact with it - It is quite common for warts to simply dissappear naturally after a while so if you have one, it would be a good idea to avoid touching or cutting it as these will make it much easier to spread and if that happens then obviously there is less chance of becoming wart free anytime soon.

Keep as dry as possible - Warts are more likely to appear in a damp environment, especially plantar warts, so if you can keep as dry as possible, within reason, there will be less chance of a wart finding an environment to grow in.

Warts are not particularly dangerous or sore in most cases, however, they are not nice at all and you will not like having them, so, I suggest you do all you can to both prevent them and to know how to fight them if you do get any.

There are many more ways in which you can fight warts than those outlined in this article and until there is a certain cure discovered there will more than likely be more and more methods to fight them created.

Two things you must remember - If you feel that a wart is particularly dangerous or worse than normal, you should contact your doctor and if you get genital warts, you should always contact your doctor without trying to fight them yourself.

Make sure you are taking the correct action before taking any action at all, do not follow these methods unless you are 100% sure you should.

Over 1 Million People Contact Genital Warts Every Year - Don't Become One Of Them

We're all afraid of something, and medically, there are few people who wouldn't be horrified to discover they have genital warts. Most sufferers are horrible embarrassed by the condition, and find everything about it scary. It doesn't help that it's a sexually transmitted disease, and sufferers always have to be conscious of the fact that they might pass it on. Like most medical conditions, however, the more you understand about what's happening and what you can do about it, the less fear you will feel.

Considering genital warts are rarely spoken about, it's surprising to find how widespread a problem it actually is. It's estimated that somewhere between ten and twenty million Americans have genital warts, with about one million more contracting the disease every year. Participating in unprotected sexual activity is the most likely way of catching genital warts, but there are also some groups who are more at risk. These include pregnant women, and people who suffer from some sort of immune system deficiency. Both these groups are more likely to catch the disease than the average person.

If you have any suspicion that you might have genital warts, then it's important to get it checked out by your doctor. It's quite possible for abnormal skin growths to occur in the genital region, which are in fact harmless that will disappear again without any treatment. Genital warts, however, are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. It's the same virus that causes warts to grow on other parts of the body as well, with the hands and feet being common locations. It's a special variety of HPV that causes genital warts, which means that having warts on other parts of your body doesn't mean you'll also get genital warts.

Despite the fact that they are contagious, and spread through sexual contact, the warts don't actually cause a great deal of harm to the body. Probably the main medical issue associated with genital warts is an increased risk of cervical cancer in women. It's interesting to note that of women diagnoses with cervical cancer, around 90 percent have been diagnoses with genital warts. Remember, though, that having genital warts doesn't automatically mean that you will get cervical cancer. However it's wise to increase your rate of pap smears to one a year, instead of every two years, just as a matter of caution.

In the end, however, the best thing you can do for yourself is to avoid having unprotected sex. That way, your chances of contracting genital warts in the first place are almost non-existent. If you suspect that you do have genital warts, visit your doctor for a proper diagnosis. Genital warts aren't life threatening, but they're an embarrassing and annoying problem that is best avoided. So take care of yourself.

Genital Warts: The Importance Of Being Tested

Are you sexually active or are you the parent of a sexually active teenager. As much as we would all like to believe that we, as well as our children, are practicing safe sex, it isn?t always happening. Instead of ignoring the problem, it is important to face it head on, with the right information. That is why it is important that individuals, of all ages, understand the dangers that surround sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially genital warts.

With all of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that exist, you may be wondering why all of the focus on genital warts. Whether you are reading this article, another article online, listening to your radio, or watching television, there is a good chance that you have heard genital warts mentioned before. There is a reason for that. Genital warts are not only a sexually transmitted disease, but it is one that can easily spread from person to person, even with protected sex.

One of the reasons why genital warts can be transmitted so easily is because the warts are like regular warts. They are often raised and in the shape of a cauliflower, often a fairly decent sized one. Essentially, this means that an individual with genital warts can easily spread their warts to another individual, with a small amount of close contact. That close contact, in most cases, includes intercourse. While condoms can be effective at reducing the spread of genital warts, they aren?t always effective. This is because warts may appear all over the genital area; a part of the area which a condom may not protect.

Another one of the many reasons why genital warts is so dangerous is because many people do not know that they have them. This is because not everyone displays the symptoms of genital warts. You may be wondering how this is possible with the above mentioned explanation of warts, but it is possible. There are some individuals who, as mentioned above, develop warts all around their genital area, including the anus area. Despite the fact that many display symptoms, not everyone does. Not displaying the signs and symptoms of genital warts does not necessarily mean that you do not have the sexually transmitted disease (STD). That is why it is extremely important that you get tested for it, at least once a year.

It is also important that you get tested for genital warts because other complications may arise. Genital warts are most commonly caused by HPV. HPV is the human papilloma virus. Unfortunately, HVP has been connected to cervical cancer. However, if genital warts are detected and treatment is offered early, the risk of cervical cancer may decrease, in fact, it may be minimal. Essentially, this means that if you are a sexually active female, you are advised to undergoing testing for all sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), but particularly genital warts. Although females are advised to undergo testing, due to their increased risk of cervical cancer, men are also encouraged to undergo testing.

If you are diagnosed with genital warts, it is likely that your healthcare provider will provide you with a number of treatment options. These treatment options most commonly include medications. It is also likely that you will be advised to limit your sexual activity. If you do participate in sexual activity, including intercourse, you are advised to proceed with caution. It is also extremely important that you inform your partner of your genital wart status. Although it may be embarrassing to discuss genital warts before sex, it is important that you do. Knowingly putting your sexual partner at risk for developing this uncomfortable and potentially harmful disease is not only wrong, it is immoral.

As previously mentioned, if your healthcare provider diagnoses you with having genital warts, you will likely be placed on medications. If you are given medication, it is advised that you take it. Whether your warts are removed right away or they disappear overtime, with medication, it is important that you follow any of the instructions given to you. While you may always have to take additional precautions, when engaging is sexual activity, you should be able to lead a normal, happy, and healthy life, with treatment.

Got Warts? Join The Club..

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Warts are a common, frustrating, and confusing problem for parents and children. Warts are overgrowths of skin tissue caused by viruses. In fact, warts are the most common infection of the skin caused by a virus. Although warts are usually harmless, various health complications may develop, depending on where the warts are located. Thankfully, for most of us, warts are bothersome and sometimes unsightly, but little more.

Plantar warts are ordinary warts of the sole, or plantar surface, of the foot. However, plantar warts differ from other warts in many respects. Unlike other warts, plantar warts don't tend to stick up from the surface of the skin. Also, as plantar warts are under pressure from standing and walking, plantar warts often grow inward, and can cause great discomfort and pain. Making use of the public shower or walking bare foot in the locker room after a workout increases the chances of developing plantar warts.

Plantar warts are seen in all age groups, but they are most common between the ages of 12 and 16. You can spot plantar warts by their distinctive appearance: plantar warts often appear as a thick, tough area of skin, similar to a callus. Keep in mind that plantar warts, like all warts, come and go as they please, are generally not contagious, and do not have roots. Over time, plantar warts may disappear without treatment, though this is not guaranteed.

Also, like most skin problems, some people appear to be more susceptible to warts than others. There is no definite way to determine whether you are more likely to contract warts than another person. If you do contract warts, however, symptoms may appear in one month or up to several years later. These symptoms may appear without the warts, and the warts may appear without other symptoms. Not very encouraging or decisive, is it?

Warts are caused by human papilloma virus, or HPV. HPV can be transmitted even if the person with HPV does not have any symptoms (such as warts). Sadly, HPV can shed from infected skin/tissues and can be transmitted through direct contact, without there being any warts present. It is important to remember that while HPV may be more likely transmitted when warts are present, the virus can be transmitted even when there are no visible symptoms.

No one wants warts. Whether on your foot, hand or elsewhere, warts are ugly and difficult to treat or cure. Gathering as much relevant information as possible to your specific type of wart is extremely important to your successfully get rid of the virus.

Warts are a common, frustrating, and confusing problem for parents and children alike. Warts are the most common viral infection of the skin. For most of us, warts are bothersome and sometimes unsightly, but little more. You?re not alone when it comes to having warts, and your not alone in seeking a cure. Warts: Your Skin's Harmless Predator?

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Warts are most often transmitted from person-to-person contact. But other than being a nuisance, most warts are harmless. Warts are caused by a viral infection. Warts are easily spread by direct contact with that virus, also known as human papillomavirus. The warts are usually most tender when they are growing most rapidly.

Warts are infectious growths in the outer layers of the skin. Warts are one of several soft tissue conditions of the skin that can be quite painful. Common warts are ones that appear on hands and fingers while plantar warts are one that occurs on the soles of our feet.

Although no cure exists for genital warts, various treatments are available. Lots of things have been proposed to cure warts, from the old folk remedies to high-tech treatments such as lasers and cryotherapy. I even found an article in an old magazine about how banana peels cure warts.

The homoeopathy offers an excellent and promising cure for warts. However, the medical community asserts there is no cure for HPV. Liquid nitrogen cryotherapy is what dermatologists use most often to prevent warts. Home remedies sometimes give unexpected results to eliminate several elements of a wart.

What causes warts is a virus known as human papilloma virus (HPV). The length of time between when a person is exposed to the virus that causes warts and when a wart appears varies from person to person. This detailed discussion explains what causes warts, why children get them and which conventional and alternative treatments work.

A great deal of research is now under way to learn how HPV causes anal cancer. The virus causes the top layer of skin to grow rapidly, resulting in a wart. The virus lives in the skin or mucous membranes and, despite common perception, usually causes no symptoms. Highly contagious, the virus that causes common warts is acquired through breaks in the skin. New research is shedding light on how the virus enters cervical cells and causes warts or cancer.

Different sub-types of HPV cause different types of warts. According to the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) there are least 60 types of HPV viruses that can cause skin warts. Certain types of warts, depending on location and cause, can be contagious from region to region, but are not transferable between species. One important piece of information is that having an infection with the types of HPV that cause benign skin warts does not increase a person's risk of developing cancer. Two of the most common types of skin lumps are warts and moles. Other HPV types can cause genital warts. They're sometimes also called intermediate-risk or highrisk HPV types. Please be aware that certain types of warts, such as genital warts, can be contagious.

Warts are a common, frustrating, and confusing problem for parents and children. But other than being a nuisance, most warts are harmless. Warts are the most common infection of the skin caused by a virus.

Warts are most often transmitted from person-to-person contact. The good news is that for most of us, warts are bothersome and sometimes unsightly, but little more. The bottom line on most warts is this: warts are ugly but not dangerous.

If I Don't Have Any Warts - How Can I Have Genital Warts

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Genital warts are a Human Papilloma Virus, also known as HVP. There are over 120 known types of HVP and about 30 of these are sexually transmitted. There are low-risk and high-risk HVP types. Genital warts are in the low-risk category. High-risk HVP can cause cervical cancer. Genital Herpes is also a low-risk virus type.

These viruses are contacted from skin to skin contact usually during intercourse - vaginal or anal. Both woman and men are able to contact this virus.

And?yes you can have this virus and never see warts. Usually warts will appear within 8 months of contracting the virus. The warts are growths that appear on the genital area or anal area. They are usually moist, soft and flesh-colored though there are some variations that are red or brown in color. There can be one of them or several together forming a cluster. They may be small or large, flat or raised. Some warts are so small you can hardly even see them.

Genital warts can not spread to other parts of the body, such as your hands - they are only in the genital area - internal as well as external.

Many HPV viruses never actually show up - they are suppressed by the body's immune system. The National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Disease estimates that about 1 out of 272 American adults get genital warts each year. Some people never totally get rid of the virus and have outbreaks of warts at differing times. While there are other's where the virus just goes away.

If you do not have any visible warts it is difficult to diagnose. In woman if they have internal genital warts a pap smear will show up as abnormal.

While there is no cure for Genital Warts - there are medical and home remedies for getting rid of the actual warts. Some doctors will freeze them off and there are also medical topical creams. There are also home remedies that use tea tree and thuja essential oils.

The warts can go away and then come back again. If that happens you will need repeated treatment. It is estimated that 30% of genital warts do come back and require about 3 rounds of treatment.

While treating these warts either with a medical treatment or home remedy - it is a good idea to also build your immune system. Eating healthy meals, exercising and proper rest will build immune strength. Vitamins and herbs are also a great way to boost your immune system.

If you know you have been exposed to genital warts - you can call your doctor and ask their advice. It is always best to practice safe sex and to let your partner know if you feel you have any problems. Also - make sure you ask your partner if they have experienced any problems.

What Are Genital Warts?

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Genital warts are warts that are located close to or in the genital areas. Genital warts are soft wart-like growths on the genitals caused by a viral skin disease. Similar to warts that appear on other areas of your skin, genital warts are caused by a virus ? HPV ? that infects the uppermost layers of your skin. Genital warts are highly contagious and also roughly 85% to blame for all cases of cervical cancers and other health problems. Genital warts are quite common. Genital warts are mainly transmitted through sexual contact. Up to one million cases of genital warts are diagnosed each year. Various other infections that appear like genital warts are dealt with in a different way.

In-depth information regarding the causes of Genital warts including medication causes and drug interaction causes can be found in the website listed below. Treatment of warts causes possible vaginitis, a possible negative side effect of cone biopsy. The virus that causes genital warts is readily passed from one human to another through sexual contact. In fact, there are more than 19 million Americans with the virus that causes genital warts. The virus causes fleshy growths in areas around the sex organs. You do not need to actually have sex or swap bodily fluids to contract the virus that causes genital warts (HPV).

Types 6 and 11 are low risk HPV types, associated with 80 percent of genital warts. Update - July 2006: The vaccine Gardacil?? guards against four HPV types. There are greater than 100 different types of HPV, but only a few can cause genital warts. Researchers have labeled the HPV strains as being at high or low risk for causing cervical cancer.

There are a few treatment options for HPV but there is no cure. Podofilox cream or gel (Condylox): A self-applied treatment that destroys the tissue of external genital warts. Interferon alpha, a substance that stimulates the body's immune response, is also used in the treatment of genital warts. Lomatrex is another recommended treatment for taking care of vaginal warts. Treatment can be uncomfortable but should not be too painful. At this time, there is no treatment for HPV, but there are treatments to get rid of genital warts. Treatment for genital warts does not get rid of the HPV infection.

Genital warts are extremely contagious and also roughly 85% responsible for all cases of cervical cancers and other health problems. Genital warts are spread by direct skin-to-skin contact with warts or an infected area during vaginal or anal sex. Genital warts are normally first diagnosed by inspection of the genital area. Genital warts are one of the most common sexually transmitted infections. If genital warts remain untreated, they have been known to vanish on their own within a six month timeframe. Genital warts are extremely common and do apply to both sexes.

Plantar Warts Explained

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Warts (including plantar warts) are a viral (verruca vulgaris) infection of the skin. They are contracted by coming in direct contact with the virus.

If you?ve ever stepped barefoot into a locker room or shower area after your workout, then you have put yourself at risk to come in direct contact with verruca vulgaris.

Warts that appear on the bottom of your feet are termed ?plantar warts?. They are both common and contagious. They aren?t spread through your blood stream, but you can ?catch? a wart from just about any surface that you could happen to come in contact with the virus. For the virus, any type of break in your skin can provide an entry point and allow the plantar wart to begin to develop.

Plantar warts do not ?take seed? on your skin then begin to grow through your skin itself. The small ?seed like? appearance of the plantar wart perpetuates this misconception, but in reality you are just seeing the small clusters of the wart itself and the wart itself can only live within skin tissue.

Even though, due to their nature they can become painful? they are medically harmless. Initially the plantar wart will appear to be flat but will grow inwardly toward your second layer of the skin.

In reality, completely avoiding coming in contact with the virus isn?t really possible, but you should be mindful and not without care just expose yourself to potential areas of contact.

Plantar warts will appear as a thick scaly area on your skin. When walking it may feel painful or like a lump. The area of skin will be off color a bit and will have small dark spots covering the area in question.

As far as treatment is concerned there are a variety of ways to treat warts. Most people opt for an over the counter topical medication first. However, due to the tough, thick skin that accompany plantar warts, topical solutions may have difficulty penetrating the affected area.

If the over the counter topical treatments fail to alleviate the wart, you should move on to professional treatment. Professional treat could involve laser surgery, a freezing technique with liquid nitrogen, or even surgically removing them. No matter the type of treatment, since warts are caused by a virus there is a certain amount of risk that the wart will reoccur; however with the professional treatments this risk is lower.

Wear flip-flops in public locker rooms and showers.

If a family member is affected with plantar warts, make sure you keep the bathroom floors cleaned and disinfected and don?t let the kids share or wear each other?s shoes and socks.

Also, keeping the skin on your feet hydrated with foot cream can help minimize the risk of infection by keeping the skin from cracking and allowing an easy entry point for the virus.

Win The Fight Against Genital Warts - Simple Things That You Can Do To Help The Process Be A Success

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

In an age when so many things that were previously taboo are now openly discussed, genital warts still remain shrouded in mystery. Perhaps this is because they are a sexually transmitted disease. Whatever the reason, the fact is that genital warts can be a very embarrassing problem. They appear as cauliflower-textured bumps that occur in and around the genital area.

So what can be done to help your body get rid of this embarrassing condition? Many people believe that once you have genital warts, you'll have them for life. The reality, however, is that you can cause the warts to go into remission to such an extent that your body will then be able to get rid of the problem by itself. Doctors employ a variety of different methods in the fight against genital warts, but there are also things that you can do to help the process be a success.

In order to get rid of genital warts, your body's immune system has to fight them and win. Once your body does this successfully, then the disease will no longer be a problem for you. The first step in the fight is to remove any genital warts that are already present. This process needs to be undertaken by a doctor, to ensure it is done safely and hygienically. Some methods used include surgery to cut the warts away from the body, or cryotherapy, which involves freezing the warts off. Most of the disease harbors safely inside the warts, so once they're remove, the strength of the disease is greatly reduced.

Now that your warts have been removed, you need to do everything you can to boost your immune system, to give it the best possible chance of fighting off the disease permanently. Start with a healthy, balanced diet, which contains all the necessary vitamins and minerals to keep your body functioning at an optimum level. Some people believe strongly that supplements like tea tree oil, Vitamin C and Echinacea are very effective at boosting immune function. It's also important to exercise regularly, to keep your body in peak fitness.

One important thing to remember is that the wart cures sold at the local drug store aren't suitable for the treatment of genital warts. Most of these products contain salicylic acid, and it's easy to think that all warts are the same and so require the same treatment. In fact, that's completely wrong. Using something like salicylic acid on your genital warts can actually harm your body. So if you believe that you have genital warts, don't waste time with over the counter cures - go and see your doctor immediately for an accurate diagnosis. It may seem less embarrassing to just buy a box, rather than talk to a doctor, but it's a waste of time if it doesn't solve the problem.

Remember to eat well, exercise, and basically look after yourself, and as long as you seek proper treatment for your warts, before long they should be in remission, and hopefully gone completely within a few years. Always practice safe sex, and visit your doctor if you're concerned the warts are returning.

Home Remedy for Warts

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Have you noticed a sudden increase of warts on your body? Wondering how to get rid of them? Well here are some tips that you could use and that too in the comfort of your own home. Try these and watch those unsightly warts vanish into thin air!

Common warts are usually found on the hands, fingers and face. The remedies that follow are to be tried only on this type of common warts and not on others like genital warts. It is best to consult a doctor if you are doubtful about the type of wart you have.

One of the simplest and cheapest remedies that you can try is Castor Oil. This works best for smaller and flatter warts. You can apply castor oil on the warts with a cotton swab couple of times a day. Continue the process until the warts disappear.

Another readily available ingredient in most homes is Vinegar. Apply any type of vinegar to the warts, 2 to 3 times a day. You may notice some swelling around the warts initially, but this should go off in a few days. Keep at this process until you achieve the desired results.

Rubbing raw potato juice on your warts for about two weeks should also do the trick. Warts are known to fall off if fresh Aloe Vera leaves are applied to them after a bath at night for two weeks or more. Covering a wart completely with adhesive tape for a few days is also an effective treatment, which does not leave scars when the warts fall off.

For cauliflower-like textured warts, applying iodine consistently has been known to work. Pricking a Vitamin E capsule and spreading its oil on the warts will help in getting rid of them. And finally, you can try applying clear nail polish on them for a week.

One thing you need to keep in mind is not to try any new remedy if you have an important event coming up to attend as different people might react differently to each of these remedies. Also what remedy works for one, may not work for another person. So keep trying different combinations until you find one that works for you. Good- luck!

There are a lot of misconceptions about what a wart is, how it is transferred, and how it can be successfully remedied or treated. First of all let us talk about what is a wart. A wart is a virus under the Human Papilloma Virus classification or HPVs. There are more than 100 types of warts of which 30 or more of them can be most often found in the sexual regions.

Any skin surface of the body is susceptible to forming the cauliflower-like appearance which are essentially small, benign tumors on the skin. Warts are most often transmitted from person-to-person contact. If you touch a wart on someone else it is possible that you can grow a wart as well. If contact is made with broken skin, it increases the likelihood substantially. They are also passable via inanimate objects such as bath towels and other objects that might have come in contact with the wart and allow for it to be passed. Types of Warts

You have several different types of warts. The common wart is the one you would most often find on your hands and fingers. You then have plantar warts or foot warts which can be found on the soles of the feet, normally under the surface of the skin. Depending on where they are located, these can have a debilitating impact on a person's ability to walk. Flat warts are flat on their surface and often grouped in large numbers. They can be found on the legs, of adult females mostly, or the faces of small children. Genitial warts are one of the most common sexually-transmitted diseases (STD) out there, and treated differently, for the most part, than the other classifications of warts.

Treating Warts

Some warts will eventually go away on their own, although doctors do not seem to know why this happens. It may take months or years, but some warts simply disappear one day never to be seen again. Others require treatment to deal with them and make go away. Even if a wart is not causing you physical pain or discomfort, it is a good idea to look at treating them. Just having the warts can allow them to spread and infect other parts of your body as well as infect other people.

I will discuss some of the ways common warts are dealt with here; however, genital warts should not be treated with any of these methods. They could cause you serious harm and damage. Please reserve them to warts on your feet, hands, legs and other non-genital regions. If you want to treat genital warts, your best bet is to consult with your doctor. Probably the most common solution in treating warts is to use salicylic acid. This is available in most grocery stores and drug stores and is the active ingredient in products such as Compound-W and others. It requires a daily application that eventually eats through the wart. My experience differs a bit from the common directions though, and that is I found it more effective to just apply the salicylic acid, and try to leave it on without disturbing it, until you go to apply it the next day. Many products recommend you try to remove the dead skin, before reapplying. I found that extended the time for the warts to disappear.

Another suggested method is to use duct tape. Supposedly you can cover the wart in duct tape which causes a reaction with your body that attacks the wart. My personal experience is this method does nothing or very little in getting rid of warts. As a last ditch effort or for a very large or painful wart, your family doctor has several tools of the trade to also use on warts. From chemical applications to using liquid nitrogen to freeze them off, they could be a consideration if nothing else is working for you.

Warts are very common and most people will experience them at some point in their lifetime. It is not something to be alarmed about, and they are usually treatable. So just take the necessary steps to try and take care of them and you should have no problems.
