If you believe that homeopathic home remedies work, then here are some ways on how to get rid of warts using natural methods. While there is a large group of people who feel that home remedies are a waste of time and old wives tales, there are also a growing number who literally live by them. Does getting rid of warts using home remedies really work? Try some of the solutions and you may be pleasantly surprised by the results.

Warts are produced by a virus that puts an unwanted growth on your skin. These are embarrassing and not pretty to look at, and you want them removed as quickly and painlessly as possible. Without going into specific medical details on why they occur, permanent removal is possible. These unpleasant growths which are almost always non-cancerous are unwanted because they just simply look bad on your skin. Listed are effective low cost ways on how to get rid of warts using time tested old fashion home remedies.

The most popular home remedy on how to get rid of warts believe it or not is using good old duct tape. In fact, there has been extensive testing and actual scientific research that this is effective in removing or eliminating warts. If you are interested in giving this a try, simply apply the duct tape directly to your warts. Keep the duct tape covered on the warts for about a week and then remove the tape. Soak the wart in water and then scrub with a pumice stone. If your wart does not immediately come off, repeat the procedure again. This again is a time tested method on how to get rid of warts.

Another method which has proven effective in eliminating warts is using aloe vera. Soak a small cotton ball using preferably a gel aloe solution for about a minute. Tape the aloe soaked cotton ball directly on your wart. Add additional aloe to the cotton ball once every few hours. Change the cotton ball daily and within a week the wart should fall off.

Caster oil is another proven effective home remedy on getting rid of warts. Apply the castor oil directly onto your wart and then rub or massage the wart and its surrounding area with your fingers. Continue this for a couple of weeks and your wart should disappear. If you prefer, you can also apply the castor oil directly on the wart twice a day and keep it covered using a bandage.

Additional wart removing techniques include: using chalk, dandelion, aspirin, bananas, baking soda, papaya, lemon juice, and/or milkweed. These are all individual solutions and are to be applied topically. When choosing a home remedy, it?s important that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are unsure, test it for a day or two for any skin reactions.

Keep in mind when using these home remedies for wart removal, that the results are not guaranteed. One solution that works for someone, does not necessarily mean it will work for you. However, since there are a wide variety of remedies to choose from, you should be able to find at least one successful cure that will work.

Treatment For Genital Warts

If you have visible signs of genital warts, over the counter topical treatments are not recommended. These treatments are designed for common or Plantar warts and may cause increased irritation of genital warts. Such treatments will ultimately have no effect in the removal of genital warts.

* Imiquimod cream (Aldara)

* Podofilox cream (Condylox

* Trichloroacetic acid: a form of acid that burns the wart away. This acid is applied by your health care physician and is left on for several hours before being rinsed clear.

* Efudex: a topical solution or cream that contains the key component Fluorouracil, which is an antimetabolite used in treating certain forms of cancer.

Should topical solutions fail to effectively remove the visual signs of genital warts, or for a more expeditious removal program, surgical options are available, which include Electrocautery, Laser treatment, and Cryosurgery.

* Electrocautery Treatment removes the wart by burning it off and sealing the blood vessels with an electrically charged probe. This treatment can be painful, but use of a local anesthesia, such as Novocain, may be administered.

* Laser Treatment is similar to Electrocautery except that it uses a high powered laser to burn off the wart and seal the blood vessels, reducing bleeding. Laser treatment is more expensive and is generally reserved for areas requiring extensive removal or for difficult to access areas such as the cervix.

* Cryosurgery or Cryotherapy is a treatment method that involves freezing of the infected area. By applying liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide to the area for a few seconds, the surface and subsurface of the wart is frozen. This treatment usually stings and, depending on your tolerance level, can be painful.

Another, more expensive, treatment for genital warts is via the injection of an antiviral drug known as Interferon, which is injected by needle directly into the warts.

This treatment is usually used as an alternative when genital warts have reappeared after being removed by surgery. Even after treatment by Interferon, there is no guarantee that visual genital warts will not return.

Aside from the physical ailments and treatments of genital warts, there are often psychological effects that are felt by the sufferers of genital warts. Feelings such as fear, disgust and despair are common among those who are diagnosed with genital warts.

Fear of contracting cancer from genital warts is a legitimate concern, but the chances of developing cancer from genital warts are minimum. Women should have regularly scheduled Pap smears performed to monitor the disease as a preventive measure.

Disgust is a form of self guilt that leads to feelings that people who have contracted the disease will never have another relationship again or will never feel wanted by potential lovers. This is not true, and support groups are a good way to deal with this feeling.

Skin Tag Removal - Silent Facts And What You Can Do

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Skin tag removal can be considered once you have a deeper understanding of what skin tags really are and the impact they leave on the individual?s health and wellbeing. In this article, you will learn about what are the causes of skin tag and what are the available treatment methods for you should you suffer from multiple skin tags.

A skin tag is a small skin growth or tumor that develops on normal skin. They are attached to the skin by thin tissues called stalks or peduncles, and are normally a few millimeters in thickness. They can have the same colour as the surrounding skin or are slightly pigmented. Skin tags would commonly be found on the neck, armpits, eyelids, under the breasts, groin or genital areas and under skin folds where frequent abrasion takes place.

Skin tags, medically known as acrochordons are generally harmless and non malignant like other skin abnormalities that could possibility become cancerous. They would appear without noticeable symptoms as well.

Some people are more prone to suffer from skin tags. Researchers have found out that skin tag occurrence could be attributed to several factors. Fat or obesity seems to be a major factor as skin tags are commonly found in obese folks. This could be due largely to the excessive skin folds they have. Skin tags have also been observed in pregnant women probably for the same reason. Age does have a role to play. Older people tend to have more skin tags when they progress in age. It is reported that skin tags occurrence could be passed down from one generation to another, ie hereditary. Even gender would affect the tendency of developing skin tags. Women tend to have a higher propensity to develop ugly skin tags.

Since they are benign and does not have an adverse impact on the health of the individual, people may wish to ignore them. However, in some cases, the sufferer could have multiple skin tags in huge numbers. They can be aesthetically undesirable and affect the overall appearance of the person. Imagine how one would look like with clusters of tightly spaced skin tags dangling in obvious visible body parts like the eye lids and neck? Very few people can accept and tolerate their existence in such circumstances. These poor victims would also fall prey to low self-esteem as they lose confidence in their physical appearances.

There is yet another group of individuals who would prefer to have the skin tags removed for another reason. Remember that these skin tags often occur underneath the skin folds and on the neck, and other body parts that come into close contact with the clothing we wear? A lot of abrasion or skin friction takes place and can be rather irritating and uncomfortable. They may even interfere with our daily activities such as playing sports, or just about any physical movements. Skin tag removal is obviously necessary.

In summary, there are several widely accepted methods of removing those skin tags, such as freezing the tag and stalk by cryotherapy, burning off the skin tags by a process called cauterization, or stopping the blood supply to each skin tag by binding the peduncle and letting them die off in weeks. The skin tags can also be surgically cut off with scissors or a scalpel at the dermatologist?s clinic. Finally, there are other effective and natural methods which you will find out in my subsequent articles.
