In many cases, Genital warts symptoms vary from one person to another. From time to time it can even be mistaken for another medical condition. Sometimes Genital HPV does not manifest physically (such as warts) often misleading people to believe they have something else.

You see you could suffer from all the genital warts symptoms and still not see any warts. You in some cases the genital warts themselves can be so small that they are almost invisible to the human eye. This is often a major reason that makes people believe they in fact suffer from a different condition.

This reason alone is good enough to make you seek a physician help. He will take into consideration your genital warts symptoms and will run further test to decide if you have genital warts. One of the methods used to perform such test is to dab a small bit of acetic acid on the area suspected of having warts.

Unfortunately even if you manage to get rid of the genital warts symptoms, the virus itself ?the human Papilloma Virus (HPV)? cannot be treated.

With time your immune system will be able to fight off the disease or infection by itself without any over the counter medicine or prescription medication. How To Get Rid Of Warts - 4 Myths Exposed

How To Get Rid Of Warts - 4 Myths Exposed Anyone seeking information on how to get rid of warts and other skin blemishes such as moles and skin tags is likely to come up against some competing information. In this article I wish to address some of the more common myths that I?ve been exposed over the years when it comes to the removal of warts and why you?ll find that natural methods for getting rid of warts tend to be both cheaper and more effective.

Myth #1 ? Warts Can Be Cured with an Over-the-Counter product

There?s a big difference between a temporary and a permanent solution

Whilst it is inevitable that wart suffers will be drawn to over-the-counter products because of the marketing muscle that goes into advertising them, the problem lies in the fact that there is a high recurrence rate. You can remove a wart using these products but the chances are that it will just keep coming back stronger than stronger.

Why does this happen? What you need to understand is that most of the products available do not get deep enough into the skin for their chemical ingredients to work effectively. The stated aim of these products is to kill the tissue that contains the wart virus and thus kill the virus. Unfortunately by not being able penetrate deeply enough to remove all of the virus infected cells of a wart, the virus survives to re-grow on a later day. This can lead the wart sufferer to a situation where he is treating the same areas over and over gain ? sometimes for years.

Myth #2 ? Removing Warts Has To Be Expensive

It?s easy to understand how this myth would perpetuate: we have something attached to our body; it must be expensive to safely remove it. When it comes to our health we tend to favour expensive options that we expect will give us a better result over cheaper options where the result is less guaranteed.

This mindset will often lead wart sufferers to opt for surgical procedures such as freezing. But here?s the rub: when it comes to getting rid of warts; surgical procedures, whilst more expensive, don?t necessarily produce better results. You can easily spend several hundred dollars on procedures, bandaging and repeat doctor visits and still have your wart.

Myth #3 ? Scarring is an Inevitable Side Effect of Wart Removal

Most doctors recommending surgical procedures for the removal of warts will diligently warn their patients of the concurrent risk of scarring that the procedure can produce. And indeed, experience has taught many a wart sufferer that over-the-counter measures can also produce scarring.

However, it doesn?t automatically follow that that getting rid of warts should result in scarring. There are natural remedies available that can remove warts in a few days without leaving a scar blemish or mark.

Myth #4 ? Removal Strategies Recommended by AMA Have Low Recurrence Rates

This statement is simply not true. In fact most AMA (American Medical Association) strategies do not have a good removal or cure rate to begin with. Then depending on the method used, different recurrence rates have been recorded.

A common doctor prescribed treatment currently used in the United States is imiquimod cream that stimulates the immune system to fight off warts. It has a recurrence rate of 13-19%.

Large warts surgically removed under local anaesthesia have a recurrence rate of about 21%. In a study using self-applied podofilox gel, the recurrence rate was 10% but the initial cure rate was a very low 51%. With respect to cryotherapy, the recurrence rate is quite high at 73%.

In short, there is no AMA recommended method that comes with a low recurrence rate

You can see that the traditional methods of getting rid of warts: over-the-counter remedies; surgical removal; AMA prescribed treatments all suffer from various drawbacks. There are however some natural treatments for getting rid of warts that do not suffer from these drawbacks.

Tony is an ex sufferer of warts who has tried some of the "traditional" methods used above with little success. He was able to finally get rid of his warts once and for all by using a natural remedy. To learn more go to How To Get Rid Of Warts Naturally

Information About Genital Warts And Herpes

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

There are many diseases and conditions in this world, and some are talked about with gusto while others are talked about in hushed voices with maybe a furtive glance or two over the shoulder to make sure no one has overheard. And one of these socially taboo subjects is that of herpes and genital warts.

Both herpes and genital warts are classed as Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD?s) and both are contagious. For the most part you will contract both herpes and genital warts through sexual relations with an infected person. This means through oral sex, anal sex as well as vaginal sex.

In a few cases however, it has been noted that you can also get both herpes and genital warts through contact with the personal items of an infected person, such as clothing, especially clothing which comes into contact with the infected area, and even towels.

This is why it?s always a good idea to keep separate any clothing, toweling or bedding an infected person will use. These items should also be laundered separately, until the infection has run its course, and afterwards as well for about a week or two. These are of course just precautionary measures and may not work fully in keeping the infection at bay.

It has also been noted that herpes and genital warts might have a connection. A few people who have had herpes will be more susceptible to getting genital warts as well. This isn?t a given but a link has been established.

For the most part though you can tell the difference between herpes and genital warts as the signs and symptoms for both differ widely. For instance herpes symptoms will cause sores or blisters to appear in your genital area, whereas genital warts will cause warts to appear in and around your genital area.

Both herpes and genital warts however, have a few things in common. Depending on the particular strain of the each virus and the overall health of the person among other considerations, signs and symptoms of both herpes and genital warts may not always appear in an infected person.

In this case it can become difficult to diagnose a patient, but other signs and symptoms of herpes and genital warts will be taken into account as well. These other signs and symptoms won?t necessarily be overt or even noticed by a person, so they could remain untreated.

In the case of the herpes virus this won?t cause any problems as the outbreak of blisters will run its course and dry up. But genital warts, if left untreated can lead to cancerous cells forming where the warts were.

Also, both the herpes and genital warts viruses cannot be cured. The symptoms of the each virus can, but not the virus itself. The best thing that you could do for yourself and your partner would be to get a proper medical examination and receive a correct diagnosis. This way you will be able to receive the necessary treatment.

Genital Warts: The Importance Of Being Tested

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

Are you sexually active or are you the parent of a sexually active teenager. As much as we would all like to believe that we, as well as our children, are practicing safe sex, it isn?t always happening. Instead of ignoring the problem, it is important to face it head on, with the right information. That is why it is important that individuals, of all ages, understand the dangers that surround sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially genital warts.

With all of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that exist, you may be wondering why all of the focus on genital warts. Whether you are reading this article, another article online, listening to your radio, or watching television, there is a good chance that you have heard genital warts mentioned before. There is a reason for that. Genital warts are not only a sexually transmitted disease, but it is one that can easily spread from person to person, even with protected sex.

One of the reasons why genital warts can be transmitted so easily is because the warts are like regular warts. They are often raised and in the shape of a cauliflower, often a fairly decent sized one. Essentially, this means that an individual with genital warts can easily spread their warts to another individual, with a small amount of close contact. That close contact, in most cases, includes intercourse. While condoms can be effective at reducing the spread of genital warts, they aren?t always effective. This is because warts may appear all over the genital area; a part of the area which a condom may not protect.

Another one of the many reasons why genital warts is so dangerous is because many people do not know that they have them. This is because not everyone displays the symptoms of genital warts. You may be wondering how this is possible with the above mentioned explanation of warts, but it is possible. There are some individuals who, as mentioned above, develop warts all around their genital area, including the anus area. Despite the fact that many display symptoms, not everyone does. Not displaying the signs and symptoms of genital warts does not necessarily mean that you do not have the sexually transmitted disease (STD). That is why it is extremely important that you get tested for it, at least once a year.

It is also important that you get tested for genital warts because other complications may arise. Genital warts are most commonly caused by HPV. HPV is the human papilloma virus. Unfortunately, HVP has been connected to cervical cancer. However, if genital warts are detected and treatment is offered early, the risk of cervical cancer may decrease, in fact, it may be minimal. Essentially, this means that if you are a sexually active female, you are advised to undergoing testing for all sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), but particularly genital warts. Although females are advised to undergo testing, due to their increased risk of cervical cancer, men are also encouraged to undergo testing.

If you are diagnosed with genital warts, it is likely that your healthcare provider will provide you with a number of treatment options. These treatment options most commonly include medications. It is also likely that you will be advised to limit your sexual activity. If you do participate in sexual activity, including intercourse, you are advised to proceed with caution. It is also extremely important that you inform your partner of your genital wart status. Although it may be embarrassing to discuss genital warts before sex, it is important that you do. Knowingly putting your sexual partner at risk for developing this uncomfortable and potentially harmful disease is not only wrong, it is immoral.

As previously mentioned, if your healthcare provider diagnoses you with having genital warts, you will likely be placed on medications. If you are given medication, it is advised that you take it. Whether your warts are removed right away or they disappear overtime, with medication, it is important that you follow any of the instructions given to you. While you may always have to take additional precautions, when engaging is sexual activity, you should be able to lead a normal, happy, and healthy life, with treatment.

Treatment For Genital Warts

If you have visible signs of genital warts, over the counter topical treatments are not recommended. These treatments are designed for common or Plantar warts and may cause increased irritation of genital warts. Such treatments will ultimately have no effect in the removal of genital warts.

* Imiquimod cream (Aldara)

* Podofilox cream (Condylox

* Trichloroacetic acid: a form of acid that burns the wart away. This acid is applied by your health care physician and is left on for several hours before being rinsed clear.

* Efudex: a topical solution or cream that contains the key component Fluorouracil, which is an antimetabolite used in treating certain forms of cancer.

Should topical solutions fail to effectively remove the visual signs of genital warts, or for a more expeditious removal program, surgical options are available, which include Electrocautery, Laser treatment, and Cryosurgery.

* Electrocautery Treatment removes the wart by burning it off and sealing the blood vessels with an electrically charged probe. This treatment can be painful, but use of a local anesthesia, such as Novocain, may be administered.

* Laser Treatment is similar to Electrocautery except that it uses a high powered laser to burn off the wart and seal the blood vessels, reducing bleeding. Laser treatment is more expensive and is generally reserved for areas requiring extensive removal or for difficult to access areas such as the cervix.

* Cryosurgery or Cryotherapy is a treatment method that involves freezing of the infected area. By applying liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide to the area for a few seconds, the surface and subsurface of the wart is frozen. This treatment usually stings and, depending on your tolerance level, can be painful.

Another, more expensive, treatment for genital warts is via the injection of an antiviral drug known as Interferon, which is injected by needle directly into the warts.

This treatment is usually used as an alternative when genital warts have reappeared after being removed by surgery. Even after treatment by Interferon, there is no guarantee that visual genital warts will not return.

Aside from the physical ailments and treatments of genital warts, there are often psychological effects that are felt by the sufferers of genital warts. Feelings such as fear, disgust and despair are common among those who are diagnosed with genital warts.

Fear of contracting cancer from genital warts is a legitimate concern, but the chances of developing cancer from genital warts are minimum. Women should have regularly scheduled Pap smears performed to monitor the disease as a preventive measure.

Disgust is a form of self guilt that leads to feelings that people who have contracted the disease will never have another relationship again or will never feel wanted by potential lovers. This is not true, and support groups are a good way to deal with this feeling.

Warts aren't pretty and can be dangerous!

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Warts are caused by a virus. It's name is Papillomavirus and it has many variants.

"Warts" is a very common, easily transmitted disease that can, if not treated, have serious consequences.

In an event that a female is infected with a strain of virus that also infects the cervix of the uterus, it can in some cases cause cancer.

It is thus very important to make sure that in an event that someone is infected and develops warts, he or she should immediately see a doctor and start treating them. Genital warts are the most dangerous as they can easily transmit deeper into vagina and infect the uterus.

But mostly warts don't become cancerous and sometimes after a few months to a few years disappear on their own. Some people are immune to Papilloma virus, but the cause is still unknown.

There are many types of warts:

* warts * plantar warts * flat warts * filamentous warts ("Papilloma") * genital warts

They can appear anywhere on the skin, but are usually confined to hands, feet, face, chest, genitals and anus. Sometimes they can appear inside the mouth.

Filamentous warts are most common on the eyelids, neck and chest.

Removal of such infections is usually carried out by freezing the affected areas with liquid nitrogen. This process has to be repeated several times to be successful. Other forms of treatment include abrasives that kill the affected cells thus eliminating the virus. This procedure too has to be repeated several times.

Inn the last five years or so, some major improvements have been made on this matter and many new discoveries have been made. Also some new alternative methods of treatment have been made available to the market.

Many of such "cures" don't work very well and people have to resort to classical methods that are usually painful and irritating.

One company, however has developed very effective treatments based on natural essential oils. Inn the laboratory testings, they have been proven to counteract with virus replicating mechanisms and thus prevent the virus from spreading and make it possible for the body to naturally defend itself and within three weeks completely heal.

Such oils can be found at http://www.amoils.com/go.cgi?id=healnow and also come with a 100% money back guarantee.

In the end, it doesn't matter whether you choose classical or alternative methods to heal warts, the most important thing is to start treating them as soon as they are spotted. The problem is that the virus is very easily transmitted among people with direct or indirect contact between infected and healthy individuals.

Also the risk of cancer as a direct consequence of Papillomavirus infection must not be neglected.

How to Remove Skin Tags

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

How to remove skin tags? This is a question many folks are trying to find an answer. Skin tags are ugly and can become a great irritant especially when they start appearing on obvious parts of our bodies such as our arms, faces and places where there is skin friction with our clothing. Worse still, for some people, they pop up continuously to alarming numbers. Going to the dermatologist can be rather expensive as he or she may need to carry out minor procedures to get rid of those skin tags. But did you know that there are home remedies to remove skin tags?

Here are a few different methods you can apply at home to remove skin tags. Finally, you can get rid of these irritating and unattractive skin tags without paying expensive medical bills. One thing I have to caution you before you start removing skin tags is to ensure that it is a skin tag you are removing and not something else.

How do you identify it as a skin tag then?

It is a soft skin growth that does not growth huge overnight and is generally smaller than 1.3cm in size. As for appearance wise, take note that it is actually excess skin and can be flat or rounded and attached to the rest of the skin by a thinner stalk called a penducle. Normally, its colour is the same as the surrounding skin or has a slight darker pigmentation. Once you are sure it is a skin tag, you may then proceed to remove skin tags.

Method 1 to Remove Skin Tags ? Using a Dental Floss or Thread

This method involves using a couple of things like dental floss or thread, a pair of scissors or nail clippers and peroxide or antibacterial medication. What you do is tie up the skin tag at the stalk base with the dental floss or thread, and then snip off the skin tag with the pair of scissors or nail clippers. Make sure these tools are sharp and washed cleaned and sterilized with alcohol if possible.

Once the skin tag is removed, apply peroxide or antibacterial medication on the small open wound. This method is simple and not very painful most of the time. You will feel a sting when you are cutting the skin tag off. You will also realize that it is effective as the likelihood of the skin tag reappearing at the same spot is slim.

Method 2 to Remove Skin Tags ? Dry up the Skin Tags with Castor Oil and Baking Soda

The second method is a less painful method and results can be seen pretty fast. What you need is some baking soda and castor oil. With these two ingredients, prepare a concoction by mixing the two together thoroughly until they form a gooey paste. Apply at least 3 times every day on the skin tags. The skin tags would dry up and die off in around 2 weeks.

These are two simple methods to remove skin tags. If you are keen to learn more skin tag removal methods, read up on my skin tag blog.

Find out more about effective and natural skin tag removal methods that you can apply from home at his blog skintagremoval.blogspot.com.
