Having moles and warts can be a very embarrassing situation, especially if they are in a place that is visible. All to often, people suffer with this condition, not really making an effort to alleviate the problem, because of the mole and wart being in a non-visible area. Removing warts and moles can be a very expensive and frustrating process.

There are close to 100 different strains of warts caused by the Human Papilloma Virus or (HPV), and some of those are linked to cancer. Warts start out when the (HPV) virus enters a cut or a break in the skin. They can start out as a single bump or can grow in clusters, looking similar to cauliflower.

Types of warts:

Common warts - these are the type of warts that are commonly found on the hands and feet and sometimes on the knees and elbows. They usually start out as a small hard bump that is gray in color, with a rough surface and some may have black dots inside.

Flat warts - also called juvenile warts usually are the size of a pin head but smoother than common warts. They may be pink, light brown or yellow in color. Young people who get flat warts normally get them on their faces, although it is also common for flat warts to appear on their arms and hands and appear in clusters.

Plantar warts - are usually found on the bottom of the feet. Very common in children and young people, plantar warts can be very painful to walk on.

Filiform warts - these warts are usually flesh colored and are finger shaped. They are commonly found on the face, usually around the mouth, eyes, or nose.

Are Warts Contagious?

Warts are a virus and like any other virus are contagious, now simply touching someone's wart will not pass it on to you, however the HPV virus can be passed from human to human. A tiny cut or scratch can facilitate the virus spreading if the HPV virus finds it's way into a break in the skin. Warts appear at different intervals once the virus is in your body, they can incubate for weeks before showing.

How long do Warts Last?

It is said that 25% of warts will disappear on their own with no treatment in about a 6 month time period, while most will go away in 2-3 years. With treatment though, you can get rid of those offending bumps much quicker.

What is a mole?

A mole is a spot on the skin that is normally oval in shape, it can be a multitude of colors from brown, red, pink or brown. We are all born with moles and each person can have anywhere from 10-50 of them on various parts of their body. Skin moles may be flat or raised, and some will sprout hairs which is very normal. Moles can be removed by various methods, some of which are very painful and require a surgeon, and can result in scarring. All moles have the potential to become cancerous, and should be watched for signs of melanoma. Some signs to take note of are sudden changes, bleeding, rapid growth or irregular size may all signify a cancer starting to develop, and should be checked by a doctor.

What are Skin Tags?

Skin tags are small pieces of protruding skin, they vary widely in color and shape. They are commonly seen on eyelids, in the crook of the elbow, on the neck and in the armpits. Dermatologists consider skin tags to be small tumors, although non cancerous and harmless. Skin tags affect women more often in women than in men and are a skin growth over collagen fibers. Skin tags that grow on areas of the body that get rubbed or bumped often can become painful and infected. Skin tags can be removed very easily but do have a chance of returning.

Removing Warts and Moles

There are various home remedies and surgical procedures in removing warts and moles, a few different ways are covered below:

1. Soak the wart or mole in warm water for about 15-20 minutes and then dry. Apply apple cider vinegar to the affected area and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off with water and dry.

2. Rub crushed garlic on the wart or mole 2-3 times per day until it disappears. Some have claimed that it took 3-4 weeks of this in completely removing warts and moles.

3. Thuja tincture can be obtained in a herbal store and is a anti-fungal. Apply a few drops to the mole or wart 2 times per day for 2-3 weeks.

I like to focus on the more natural ways in removing warts and moles, there are surgical procedures that will do the job quickly, although they can be costly and leave scarring. Give some of the recommendations above a shot and see if they work for you.

How To Safely Remove Warts From Face

“How To Remove Your Moles, Warts & Skin Tags in 3 Days - Easily, Naturally And Without Surgery. Click Here to Know HOW??”

>>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Products untill You Read This <<

Want to safely remove warts from face areas today? The key to this equation is understanding those annoying things. Warts are caused by a virus in the human papilloma virus family, also known as HPV. There are more than 100 types of these viruses. They can cause warts to grow on all parts of your body. This includes on your skin, inside your mouth and even on your face. Warts can be extremely embarrassing, especially when found on your face.

There are ways to safely remove warts from face areas, but first you should know what causes warts. Warts on the skin may be passed from one person to another when you come into contact with the warts. It may also be possible to spread warts by using towels or other objects that a person who has warts has used. Sometimes warts will go away on their own, but it may take years for this to happen. Warts will likely have to be treated and sometimes removed by a doctor.

If you have a bothersome wart, you may want to try some of these methods to remove warts from face areas:

Wart Removal #1

Apply salicylic acid, (also known as compound w) to the wart. It may take several weeks to get rid of the wart. For the best results, use after you take a bath or shower. This softens the skin and allows the acid to penetrate deeper. Use an emery board to file off the dead surface of the wart.

Wart Removal #2

Applying Liquid Nitrogen to the wart will freeze the wart and cause it to fall off. It will usually take about one application each week for about 3 weeks. This is usually done by a doctor.

Wart Removal #3

Duct tape covering a wart will irritate the wart and the skin around it. This will cause the body to attack the wart. Cover the wart with duct tape for up to a week. When you remove the tape, soak the wart in water, and rub it gently with a pumice stone. Leave the wart exposed overnight and reapply the tape the next morning. If this does not work after 2 months, you may need to see a doctor.

For most people, wart treatments are successful. Your body?s immune system can usually get rid of tiny bits of wart that may be left after removal. It is important to remember that warts may come back, but it is not likely if the treatments were done correctly.

If you are still having trouble with your warts there is a natural, safe and painless way of removing your warts in only 3 days.

Home Remedies For Genital Warts

Home remedies are one of the first steps taken whenever any signs of ill health are seen. For problems that are not of a serious nature home remedies are fine. In fact several small problems do get solved by good home remedies.

Genital warts are also often first treated at home. If the treatment begins in the initial stage itself it might even help and cure the warts completely. Home remedies generally involve the use of items that are readily available at home, generally on the kitchen shelf itself.

One common home remedy often advised for warts of all kinds is the application of bleach two to three times a day. A week or so after this kind of treatment the wart is bound to fall off. Another popular home remedy for warts is a mixture of castor oil and baking soda. Multiple applications are reputed to do away with warts permanently. However, a word of caution here, baking soda is best avoided for use on genital warts. The skin in these areas is very sensitive and baking soda might lead to other complications. An application of only castor oil can help instead. A slice of fresh garlic applied over this and taped in place and left overnight may help the wart fall off.

A banana peel patch is believed to be of immense help. A banana peel patch over the wart kept overnight is advised. Some people try painting the warts with vitamin A or beta-carotene once or twice a day. Some people, who profess a working knowledge of herbal remedies, tie up pouches of herbs to be used as poultices on the warts.

Whether or not such remedies work is anybody's guess. In general, the trick lies in finding the right cure in the required quantity early enough. As there is no way to standardize these factors, the efficacy of home remedies for genital warts is always questionable.

When statistics regarding genital warts are reported various terms and figures are used. One of these is the term ?prevalence of genital warts.? This term refers to the estimated number of people who are managing various stages of genital warts at any given time. Another oft used term is ?incidence of genital warts.? This term refers to the number of cases of genital warts diagnosed within a given time period. The health department issues statistical figures as a matter of routine.

Wart Removal - ABCs of Removal Methods for Warts

Wart removal can be tricky if you have little or no knowledge about the proper ways to get rid of those warts. Imagine making incomplete removals and seeing them return as if they are back with a vengeance. If you are thinking of removing those warts for your children, you may wish to note that juvenile warts do vanish over time and it may not be necessary to do anything for the time being. Whatever reason you may have for wanting to get rid of those ugly warts, this article would discuss about the methods and treatment available to remove the warts in a more controlled environment under the care of a professional, ie the dermatologist.

Warts can be removed by a dermatologist or doctor at your local clinic. As the removal can be painful and cause some discomfort, the dermatologist would normally apply anesthetic on the warts and its surrounding skin to alleviate the pain. Depending on the type of warts, age of patient and other factors, your dermatologist may tailor the removal method for you accordingly. Another point to note is whether your insurance policy does cover such treatment procedures. I have to caution you early that if you are getting rid of those warts purely for cosmetic reasons, ie to enhance your looks and physical appearance, the medical expenses may not be claimable. Please check with your insurance company and the dermatologist.

Broadly, there are 5 removal methods in the market, and 4 are done at the dermatologist. The last type is self-administered.

Excision with Scissors/Scalpel

This is one the most conventional removal method used by most dermatologist. The warts are excised or cut off from the skin at the base. This is the preferred option for large warts.

Cauterization/Electro-Surgery of Warts

This in short is the procedure for burning off warts with electric current.

Freezing Off the Warts

Forceps or metallic tweezers are used to hold and secure the warts. Liquid nitrogen is then applied to the handling tool to freeze off the warts. This wart removal method is also known as cryotherapy.

Laser Surgery

Perhaps the most expensive method of all, laser surgery is also reputed to be the most thorough way to remove the warts.

Finally, the last common removal method which can be carried out at home is by using over-the-counter medications. Visit the pharmacy and purchase plasters, solution or gel containing tretinoin, salicylic acid or other medications containing skin-exfoliating agents.

While the above methods are commonly applied by most people, there are still associated risks you must consider. External procedures performed at the dermatologist can be painful and in some cases, the wounds can remain uncomfortable and irritating for several days. Warts are also notorious for being a recurring skin condition. If you are interested in knowing more about how you can easily remove them completely and permanently from home using natural and inexpensive methods, do visit my blog about natural wart removal.

Many people may have skin tags, and as a result, wonder about the best home removal skin tags methods. Before you can go about removal, though, you must understand what they are. A skin tag also known as an acrochoron, is a tiny knob of skin that protrudes from the surface of your skin. These are often the same color as the skin that surrounds it, but on occasion they do appear darker. Skin tags are always soft and moveable.

There are several home removal skin tags methods that you may want to try. Many of these remedies are painless, but you may find that a few cause a bit of stinging. Skin tags are not related to any illnesses or diseases. They naturally form and cannot be prevented. Some people are just prone to these growths, but some common causes are: pregnancy, heredity, weight gain, and age. Once you have a skin tag it is permanent, and although it may grow, it will not become cancerous.

Skin tags are usually not dangerous, or painful, but many people want to have them removed. Reasons to try home removal skin tags methods include:

  • Clothing irritates the skin tag
  • It is getting caught in jewelry or zippers
  • It is in an obvious place and is causing embarrassment
  • Multiple tags have grown in one place causing an unattractive mass

There are a couple of ways to remove skin tags at home, but you must use care when doing so. If the skin tag is painful or if you cannot move it, it is not recommended that you try to remove it on your own. It could be infected, and removal could cause more pain and problems. If you are absolutely sure that you have a skin tag, you may try these options:

Derma Tend uses an all natural approach. Simply apply directly to the skin tag and cover it lightly. This procedure is usually pain free.

Skin Save relies on a blend of herbs, and mineral salt to dissolve skin tags, warts, and moles.

If these methods do not work for you, there is always the option of consulting with a dermatologist, to discuss another option to remove skin tags.
